On Saturday afternoon, I had an accident while going on an adventure and in my opinion, it was near death. Water was rushing over me and I was sucking in water when all I wanted was a breath of air and I honestly thought that was where my life would end. To say I was scared would be the biggest understatement of my life. I thought I was drowning. My biological father drowned in a similar fashion when I was barely a year old and for this to happen to me the day before Father&#8217;s Day, coincidentally his birthday as well, I believe it means something bigger. I&#8217;ve had a nightmare for the past two nights when I try to rest and in this nightmare, my life was not spared, and I met my father for the first time that I can recollect. It was a strange experience, especially knowing the significance of that day. I am also a firm believer in everything happens for a reason and I believe I was spared for some reason and what if I&#8217;m meant for something great or even something small.
